We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the Environmental & Social Value (ESV) Certification, a new standard developed by Made in Britain in collaboration with MAP UK & International. The Certification recognises our current contributions and commitment across people, planet and place — including employing and training people in the UK, supporting local communities, and operating in line with UK legislation and regulations on ethics and environmental sustainability.
The ESV Certification is part of a purpose-built programme designed to inform, engage and empower UK companies — particularly SMEs — to draw out and promote what they already do, and communicate it clearly to customers and stakeholders. It reflects the increasing importance of Environmental & Social Value in both consumer and public sector decision-making, especially under the Procurement Act 2023 and the UK Government’s Social Value Model (PPN 002).
As a Made in Britain company, Sutcliffe Play is already contributing to the UK’s wider industrial, Environmental & Social goals through our everyday operations, and the Certification not only helps us to make that visible, but also communicate it to our clients and to the wider marketplace.
